We've taken a first look at Scrybe. This browser-based organizer sports an attractive calendar, dynamic resizing elements on screen, and its own offline access methodology NOT based on Google Gears.

Unfortunately, as of 8/13/2008 Scrybe has a long way to go to becomes a useful GTD or TRO task manager. Its task lists are extremely simple, no place for notes, so you can't support even the "inline with notes" method of Project, Next Step support. It has a "Requires" field, but it appears to have no easy way to add or switch "requirements", so tasks cannot be moved from one context to another.

We'll keep our eye on Scrybe, since it has received a lot of publicity, but at the moment it is only an interesting curiosity rather than an effective task and time management tool.

Howdy, Stranger!
