A fun, off-the-beaten-path application with a colorful, simple interface that does a decent job of supporting basic GTD and other approaches.

As time management experts, we were impressed with the innovation in LifeShaker--the fun and low-effort way it meets real time-management needs. Because it's so unique, we raced to add it to our GTD Software Comparison Chart when we found this review:

    Handling GTD with LifeShaker

Deceptively simple, LifeShaker actually handles basic GTD properly if you understand & follow these guidelines:

    * You can only have one category at a time per project (goal) and only one live step.
    * Change the project's (goal's) category to match the next step as each step is completed.
    * The "Back Burner" is really your Someday/Maybe list.

Also, the "Shaker" is an effective alternative to auto-prioritization so useful in TRO or TWC. By hitting the shaker a few times until you see what makes sense, you can focus on a few items at a time.

Howdy, Stranger!
