7/11/08 Update: Things for iPhone and iPod was announced and is for sale, but it cannot be listed here as it is not GTD compliant! We'll be testing it out with the new iPhone ourselves, and we'll update this post if/when we find this conclusion to be in error. Why not compliant? Tagging is not supported, so you cannot set contexts for your tasks. We're sure this will be remedied soon, so stay tuned.

This is my favorite GTD app for mac.  I have tried iGTD, omni focus, RSD and midnight inbox.

What I like most about Things is it is really easy to get to my data.  It is very simple to add data and customize it.  It is also capable of about as much complexity as you need.

I find it pretty GTD compliant.  I particularly like the inclusion  of a someday-maybe category and a scheduled category.  About the only thing it is missing is a waiting for category.

Thanks for the comments. Without that Waiting For category
that you'd like built in, how do you handle your W/F's?

Personally, I use the Teammate option to track follow-ups, things I'm letting those people borrow, etc.

Though I haven't looked at the manual, I honestly can't see any other purpose for it (i.e. the Teammate category was created for this exact purpose).  Anything that I have to work on that might going "out" to one of those teammates I assign as a normal task, so there's nothing else to track under those categories.

Forgot to add, eagerly awaiting the iPhone/Touch client coming with the first release.  Currently, I create notes and have to recreate them in Things later.
