    Name of product: XMIND
Description: Graphical mind mapping and brainstorming application.
    Main URL: http://www.xmind.org/us/index.html

XMIND has no obvious application as a way to implement GTD-like time and task management system. Search of web site turns up nothing. Nothing obvious on Google.

If you have mor information on why this should be considered  for inclusion in the GTD software comparison table, post a reply.

    Hi,

have been searching for the perfect GTD app for Mac for a while now and stumbled upon XMIND.
After a day of using it I am deleting it from my hard drive because it is terribly slow and not particularly useful for GTDing out of the box. Plus it is definitely not mac-like and has absolutely no OS X integration of sort. I opted for Curio+Things for managing my projects and Mail.app + iCal for managing my to-do's.

A single app didn't quite did it for me. I ended up needing more than one.
Things is beautiful and perfect for minute task and to-do management in the purest GTD philosophy, but it lacks visual aid for project brainstorm/mind mapping that I need so much. Curio provides the latter.
My GTD INBOX is Mail.app where I drop all my notes and to-dos. Mail+iCal is unbeatable for me when it comes to doing minute tasks, i.e. the things I "do" for the day. Things gives me that wrap-up/summary of to-do's that I need to be able to prioritize. Curio gives the higher view for the project.

Disclaimer: I am a Mac purist; believer of the mac-like interface and denialist of all things non-mac. So take my opinion for what it is.

    Best,
    KK

Thanks for the great feedback. Many people rely on multiple apps in combination to do GTD or GTD-like systems, so we're thinking about the best way to document that for everyone. Ideas are appreciated.
