The simplest way to deal with Tags in Toodledo are:

1. Log in Toodledo as Usual.
2. At the upper left portion of Toodledo; Look for "View By" then click on the link that says "Tags."
3. Find the tag you want to delete among the folder tabs then click on it.
4. If no tasks appear, Click on the blue link that says "turn off filters"
5. Remove the unwanted tag from all tasks in the list.
6. Refresh
7. All removed tags would no longer show.

Note: Toodledo only remembers tags that are currently in use.
