How can I make the most money?
You will probably be most successful by offering Priacta's TRO training with another product or service. You should also encourage business contacts and associates (not your web site visitors) to sign up as subaffiliates. You will earn a healthy override on their referral sales too.
For example, if you create a TRO-compatible tasklist or planner, you could encourage users to purchase TRO training as a way to get the most out of their planner. Our training's amazing results will boost their confidence in your product, and the position of your product will enhance your ability to get affiliate customers.
Another way to do this would be to enhance the training itself. For example, you could create a small eBook highlighting alterations to TRO that make it especially useful to a particular type of individual. Offer the eBook for free, but explain that it only works in combination with TRO training.
I want to make lots of money, but I don't want to offer anything extra.
The name of the game is traffic. To earn affiliate commissions, you will need to drive traffic to priacta.com somehow. Blogs are a great place to start. Blogs drive an enormous amount of high-quality traffic to Priacta. Most of these blogs only drive a small amount each, but some are very significant. As a rule, the more frequently you blog, the more traffic your blog will have. Blog frequently about things that will attract people who are interested in improving their productivity. Review TRO training and write about your experience. Then, every so often, mention or write an article that describes TRO or Trog Bar, and encourage people to try it out. They'll love you for it.
Can I make a living at this?
Absolutely. People can and do make comfortable incomes with affiliate programs. However, most people don't. Earning an income with an affiliate program requires patience, work, and creativity. If you can tap a large market that wants or needs what Priacta has to offer, a full-time income is very possible.
What kind of conversion rate should I expect?
Your success will primarily be determined by how well you prepare a potential customer before sending them to us. Our testimonials have an important effect on the conversion rates; your personal experience will have an even more profound impact. Tell them your impression and/or how TRO training has affected you before sending a visitor through your link. If you can prepare them to want or consider buying the training, your click-through rate will be much higher, and the conversion rate after the click will be better.
Why do the expensive trainings have a lower comission?
The high end trainings involve many hours of highly skilled labor. We have to adjust the commission when skilled labor is involved to ensure a reasonable profit. However, many high-end trainings are purchased as an upgrade to TRO Online Training. This means you will usually earn the high commission on the online training in addition to the smaller commission on the more expensive training upgrade.
How long is a referral tracked as "mine?"
Currently, visitors with cookies enabled are "yours" for 120 days from their last visit referred by you. If cookies are not available (rare), they can usually still be credited to you within two weeks of their last referred visit. Since the referral expires, you should encourage return visits frequently by referencing Priacta products, blog articles, Tweets, tips, and other site resources. Any of these can be referrals if they come from your approved Direct Link site or if you use your affiliate id in the URL.
Who gets the commission if two affiliates refer the same visitor?
The last affiliate to refer a visitor gets the comission. This best represents the value of the person who is finally able to "close the deal." It is also more flexible for us, and empowers the customer if they want a specific affiliate to get the commission.
Someone I referred made a purchase but the system doesn't show the sale!
There are many reasons why this might happen. The person may have used another affiliate link after yours, they might be deliberately preventing tracking, they might have disabled javascript, or they might have placed their order over the phone and did not mention you when asked. If you feel you have not gotten proper credit for someone you referred, please email us with the information and we'll check into it immediately.
Best Practices
Is there anything I may not do?
Please don't do anything unethical or illegal. Many forums have a policy against posting affiliate links, and posting spammy comments in forums or blogs will never win you friends. Add value, always, whenever you write something. If we feel your actions reflect poorly on Priacta we will notify you and ask you to fix the problem. If you continue, or for serious offenses, your account may be terminated immediately. Let's not go there.
You may use your affiliate link in emails. However, most countries have strict laws about email marketing. You must comply with all email marketing laws in your country, as well as the CAN-SPAM Act of 2003 in the US. Also, we have a fundamental conflict with the idea of spam. We try to help people save time, not waste it filtering through junk mail. Please always make sure your emails have genuine value for their recipients. They will make sales better that way too.
Where should I put my banners or links?
The best place is probably inside high quality content. If you make it the primary focus of the page, you may be able to get click through rates better than 50% (we've seen it, so we know it's possible). High click through rates also mean that you probably did a good job of preparing your visitor to consider buying.
In your content, try to place the links on things that beg to be clicked. For example, "...average trainee reports 140% boost in...." This link almost demands the reader to click it because you made a fantastic, specific, claim and the hyperlink dares your visitor to verify the proof.
Placing banners with the other ads on your blog or web site isn't a bad idea, but alone it won't amount to much. The primary reason to place it with ads is to prepare your readers for an upcomming article. A person typically has to be exposed to a product or idea several times before they finally decide to buy.
One good plan is to place something in the ads and write a special entry every month or two specifically about TRO training. Make sure to include a couple of obvious but relevant links in the article.
