What They're Saying

    • “You immediately get productive.... TRO can be described as GTD on steroids combined with a step by step plan for implementing [the] system....”
Eric Eckberg, Solo Developer and GTD Enthusiast
    • “After [TRO Online Training] I got more done at work in the next several days than I would expect to get done in a few weeks.”
      Mike
    • “Terrific program. Am 100% satisfied with my investment. ... Having a well-conceived, practical system for managing it all has made a huge difference in my life.”
      Mitchell Kick, Vice President, SAP
    • “[TRO Online Training] changed the way I work, and almost three months later, I'm still using the techniques that I learned. The course is based on Getting Things Done.... Well organized and clearly written....”
Debra Dalgleish, 10 Hours to an Organized Office, Contextures blog.
    • “I absolutely eat this stuff up! Since I use a Blackberry and Outlook, I was thrilled to see that [you] offer customized training based on those tools.... It’s an amazing approach to gaining organization skills. Thank you! Thank you!”
      Debi Gilmore, Director, Mentors International
    • “The system is by far the best I've found! I have tried GTD on its own, I have tried Take Back Your Life, and they don't compare.... The online training, the 21 day follow-up and the help from your coaches is absolutely fantastic! I've started to delegate a lot more work out to my team, and they appreciate the follow-up and feedback.”
      Shaun Dicker, Manager/Developer, shaundicker.tumblr.com
    • “I first came across Priacta when I downloaded their Trog Bar. I soon found it to be a small but mighty tool which significantly simplified my GTD implementation.... I later signed up for the self-directed coaching option.... I've since signed two of my staff up for the Premium Remote Training and they are benefitting considerably from it.”
      Craig Kennedy
    • “Great system! First practical TM [time management] system I've come across that really works, addresses all the nitty-gritty real life situations AND takes you by the hand to have the new behavior stick!”
Andrew Solomon, COO, SQL Integrator Consulting
    • “I'm billing more time, going home early, and sleeping better than I have in years.”
Stephen Lewis, Attorney, Spinella Owings & Shaia
    • “Cuts through a whole mountain of time management consultant blather.”
      Jim Phipps, President, Aquastruct
    • “Yesterday I purchased your Online Training option. I am delighted with the product and have found it, and the TROG Bar, really excellent.”
      David Border, ADAS UK
    • “Thank you again for all your great coaching.... I have about 550 tasks [and] I am in control of them.... This is the first time in my career that my office has been so focused and clean. I could actually work in a much smaller office now! Don't tell my boss. What you do makes a huge difference in the lives of those you help.”
Jordan McCollum, VP, Major Multinational Corporation
    • “I have been trying systems for thirty years. This is the first time I found something that has given me this much of a sense of control and has met my needs as an application developer-business owner-consultant-employee.”
Eric Eckberg, Solo Developer and GTD Enthusiast
    • “I no longer feel intimidated when I walk into my office.”
      Ron Rominiecki, Owner, Snapfinger Catering
    • “I call TRO 'GTD++', but that's a gross understatement. It extends GTD in so many ways... Highly recommended.”
      Ed Wunder, IT Expert
    • “You have been great! I am really glad I purchased the additional time.”
      Jordan Beard
    • “Very detailed follow up.... The structure ensured I followed through and cleared and organized all the decks rather than just enough to feel some momentary relief. Excellent experience overall!”
Craig Kennedy, Executive Coach, Real Coaching
    • “I love my job, but I was feeling so stressed out that I was feeling a sense of dread about going to work. My stress was carrying over to my family, and my wife wisely intervened by contacting Priacta. I felt confident the TRO system would work because of the professional coach and the step-by-step process.... [Now] I am nearly stress free.... I recommend TRO to anyone whose life seems spiraling out of control. I have tried books, instructional DVDs, and workshops, and none of these worked. TRO delivered as promised.”
      Keith Whitworth, Ph.D.
    • “It feels wonderful to enter my office and see a desk that is organized and free of clutter, and to have a system that tells me what I should be working on next so I don't have to think about it. My stress levels have vastly improved over a couple of weeks ago!”
      Christer Hokanson, Health Eternal
    • “My stress level ... was quite high. TRO has eliminated that stress, and given me a way to achieve my goals at work and at home.”
      Shana Bursi, CAO, Essentia Financial

Turning Off Email Notifications in Outlook

    Control Email Interruptions Easily

Email notifications distract you. Email is not your work—it is a tool to help you accoomplish your work. For maximum productivity you need email notifications totally off. This lets you collect your email to process in batches when you're ready. Don't let it interrupt and distract you when you are concentrating.

To turn off email notifications in Outlook:

    1. Open the Tools menu and select "Options..."
    2. Click the "Email Options..." button.
    3. Click "Advanced E-mail Options..." in the new screen that pops up.
    4. Under the heading "When new items arrive in my Inbox..." de-select all of the boxes. (See below. These boxes are checked by default. You must UN-check them.)

    What Then?

With email notifications turned off, you're ready to triage email several times each day, when you are already interruptible, instead breaking your concentration every few minutes.

This gets you started. For full time management relief, use our TRO Online Training System.
